Program Summary
This is a general medical laser safety course intended for initial and annual refresher training. This course is targeted to those individuals who use, operate, or are potentially exposed to Class 3B or 4 lasers as defined by ANSI Z136.1. Objectives include understanding the characteristics of laser, understanding the various hazards posed by lasers and laser equipment, and understanding mitigation and avoidance of those hazards.
